The lodge is located in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The lake is nearly 1,000 sq. miles of cold clear water, with countless bays and islands. The Lodge itself is located on an island in the middle of the lake and is only accessible by float plane. The camp consists of 6 guest cabins, Main Lodge/Dining Room, and Central Shower House. The season is limited to 10 weeks, from the end of June through August. The present lodge owners pride themselves on personal service, taking only 12 guests at a time for each of the packages. This means lots of elbow roomand they book space well in advance.

The Fishing

The lake offers Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling. Arguably one of the best combo Pike and Lake trout fisheries anywhere.They get more pike fishermen early in the season and more Trout fishermen later in the season, any of the 10 weeks they are open will give the guests of the lodge a good chance at a trophy fish of either species. They track the fish caught each year in the lake. Both 25lb & 30 lb fish are not uncommon for the season. There are NO FLY OUTS...it is not necessary as all the fish caught are from the main lake. The lodge practises strict catch and release as well as expecting guests to use barbless hooks. Lake Trout are caught by either casting or trolling in open water. The lake is 65 feet at its deepest, and most of the open water is less than 30 feet never requiring down riggers etc. for Lake Trout. Pike are caught in the bays casting into weeds and sometimes even sight casting for them. Arctic Grayling caught near the river on the south end of the lake.

The Accomodations

The guest cabins accomodate 2-3 people. Carpeting, heat and electricity are standard in each of the lakeside cabins.

The Camp:

The cabins located on the northwestern shore of the Lake provide the ultimate in outpost luxury.

The camp consists of five large cabins, filleting house, ice shed, shower and bath house. Each cabin has it's own dock and offers a terrific view of the lake and surrounding area.

Accommodations:

Five Two bedroom, four person cabins with screened-in porches. Cabins are fully equipped with propane stove/oven, fridge/freezer, and propane lighting; Inside wood cook stove, pots, pans, utensils, dishes and cutlery; Comfortable clean mattresses and pillows.

Fishing:

Fabulous Fishing! The Camp guests enjoy some of Manitoba's finest northern and walleye fishing on the breath-taking waters of this Lake. The Lake offers a healthy balance of big trophy northern pike fishing along with non-stop action of walleye tugging on the line. Guests of the lodge can travel the lake littered by islands, creating hundreds of miles of fishable shorelines and structures.

This camp is a conservation oriented operation that practices catch and release on all big fish and emphasizes the use of barbless hooks. The owners are extremely proud of their resource and wish to keep it productive for all present and future guests.

Constant activity is maintained by their monitored baiting schedule. Guides take the guests to their stand each day between 3 - 4 pm and co-ordinate pick up times based on sunset. The resort is situated on the northeastern shore of the lake with a southern exposure. Nestled in the shade provided by pine and poplar trees on a protected point of Precambrian Shield granite, it's truly a picture perfect backdrop. The cabins and lodge sleep four to six and are fully furnished, including running water, electric or propane fridges, propane stoves, wood stoves, electric and propane lights, propane heaters, and complete cooking and eating utensils. This resort is a float plane-only accessible location with boat caches, and a professionally managed trophy pike and walleye fishery.

The only resort on the lake. Quality fishing this is easy and so close to the resort, the guests will be spoiled. The lake has excellent flow, with three tributaries coming in and two going out. On the Lake, you can fish trophy northern and walleye without wasting valuable time traveling. Within minutes of departing from the resort, it is easy to find a spot where the moving water seems to be funneling the walleyes towards your boat, or where several big pike are jockeying for the cover of a weedbed. A 53.5" pike that was caught and released, was hooked just 150 yards from the dock! If the guests feel adventurous, they can portage into one of Lodges boat cache lakes. Walleye average 17-24" and Northern average 27-40" (with many Master Anglers).

The name of the lake is synonymous with BIG FISH! It is home to bountiful numbers of trophy Northern Pike and Lake Trout, chunky Walleye, and feisty Arctic Grayling. Located in Saskatchewan, Canada's pristine northland, with minimal angling pressure, the lodge presents anglers with the opportunity to experience the fishing trip of a lifetime, in a spectacular wilderness setting.
Situated on a peninsula in the northern-most region of the lake, the lodge provides trophy angling potential within eyeshot of the main lodge.

Accommodations:

Consist of five cozy cabins, each with private bathroom and shower. Cabins vary in size, sleeping anywhere from two to six guests. The emphasis at this lodge was to offer comfortable accommodation and a complete wilderness fishing experience to the guests of the lodge .
