CommentsThis lodge was established in 1998 along the eastern slopes of a beautiful mountain national park wilderness. The lodge is well known world wide for the quality bear and whitetail hunting. This Outfitters' success can be attributed to their local guide's personal knowledge and life long experiences, which has become part of the mountain legend.

The owner's host a maximum of 10 hunters per week at their Lodge. Very comfortable surroundings at this mountain lodge retreat with a hunting area consisting of 60,000 acres bordering the park. The terrain is hilly and rugged with a scattering of alfalfa fields throughout. Hunting pressure is very light, the lodge guides have lived and hunted the area for many years which gives them an intimate understanding of the ways and tendencies of the whitetail. Guests are transported to tree stands, ground blinds and still-hunting areas.

The area is well known globally for large and multi-colored bears. 500 pound bears are taken every year with 10% - 20% of all bears taken scoring 20 inches Boone and Crockett. 50% of our bears are color phase (blonde, brown, and cinnamon).

The lodge runs 15 bait sites and the owners monitor them closely to predict size, color and number of bears visiting each site adding to the tremendous success of their hunts.
